THE PLEASURE OF A GOOD MOVE · FOR THE JOY OF THE GAME

2 Suits

Two suits give familiar moves a different consequence. Remember that a legal move is not always the most useful move.

Select a face-up card, then a destination column. Dragging also works.

Spades and hearts

Each rank appears four times in each suit. You still need eight complete same-suit runs to finish the game. The two-suit layout begins with ten columns and fifty cards in the stock. This mode uses 104 cards divided between spades and hearts.

Move by rank

On this website, the following points apply. A mixed-suit build does not become a movable group merely because its ranks descend. A six of hearts can therefore sit on a seven of spades. A card may land on an exposed card exactly one rank higher, regardless of suit. Check both rank and suit before trying to move several cards together.

Move a group

Keep these details in mind. You may still move a smaller same-suit segment from the bottom of the column. A movable group is a face-up descending sequence containing only one suit. You can select the first card of that group to move every card below it. A suit change inside the selected cards stops the group from moving together.

Collect matching sequences

The game removes a qualifying sequence automatically and updates the run counter. A red-and-black King-to-Ace column does not count as a completed run. A complete sequence must run from King to Ace in one suit. Both suits contribute to the total of eight runs needed to win.

Untangle the tableau

Here is what to know. An empty column can hold one segment while you reconnect the remaining cards. A temporary mixed-suit move can expose a hidden card or release an empty column. Matching suits often reduces the number of individual moves needed later. Plan how you might separate that mixed build before extending it further.

Keep room to work

Keep these details in mind. Fill every empty column before requesting another stock deal. You can sometimes return a shorter segment to its original column after exposing a useful card. Any legal movable group can occupy an empty column. Moving a King into a spare column can make space, but the King cannot later land on another rank.

Add ten new cards

On this website, the following points apply. Each stock deal adds one face-up card to every column. Five such deals are available at the beginning of the game. Review exposed moves and empty-column plans before using the stock. The new cards can create matching suit connections or block existing ones.

Compare alternatives

Undo also restores cards that were turned over or collected by the reversed action. The timer is not rewound when you undo. Use Replay if you want to restart the same shuffled deal from the beginning. Undo can reverse a stock deal as well as a normal card move.

Practice the transition

The key details are straightforward. Revealing hidden cards gradually broadens your choices. One-suit experience helps with rank order, but two suits adds a separate suit constraint for group movement. Keeping several short matching runs can be easier to manage than one long mixed run. A suggested move is a possibility to investigate rather than a guaranteed route to victory.

Your two-suit session

Here is what to know. Turning off local saving removes stored game progress and statistics on this domain. Two-suit progress is stored separately from one-suit and four-suit progress in this browser. The game can still run for the current visit when browser storage is unavailable. New game replaces the current two-suit deal with a fresh shuffle.
